White Sox 10 Rangers 4…Deja Vu is the feeling or experience of something that has happened before.Sam Antonacci twice drove in Miguel Vargas with singles and both times subsequently advanced Muretaki Murekami.This occurred in the fourth and sixth innings respectively.The White Sox prevailed 10 to 4 and won the series against the Rangers 2 to 1.The White Sox go on to play the Twins in Minneapolis this Friday for a three game series at Target Field.

Cubs 19 Mariners 2…Seattle has a unique charm.There is the phrase “lets get the band back together.” The Chicago Cubs certainly got it right this Sunday after losing the first two games of the series to Seattle.Two grand slams,one from Pedro Ramirez,and the other Cub that hit a granny on this beautiful day was Ian Happ.Ian has a plethora of grannies,eleven to be precise.Kevin Gausman pitched a splendid game for the Cubs earning the victory.The Cubs flattened Seattle 19 to 2 even scoring nine runs in one inning.The Cubs continue their pennant chase this week.

White Sox 2 Mets 1…Sunday was a resplendent day in the windy city.An idyllic day in Chicago,the kind that Carl Sandburg pontificated about frequently.The White Sox took advantage of this beautiful day and triumphed over the New York Mets.The game was close all the way throughout.Nolan McLean held it close with staunch pitching.Andrew Benitendi doubled in a run to take the lead.The Mets subsequently tied it.In the ninth the White Sox won it on a Tristan Peters walk off home run.Chicago keeps their two playoff chases going on the north and south sides this week.
