Poem…The Home Fires Burning…I have never gone hungry,Except during medical tests,There has always been a meal for myself,How I feel sorrow for the homeless…Turkey,mashed potatoes,,stuffing, every Thanksgiving,The home fires burning,A kitchen with one of us in our family cooking,I am a fortunate soul…When I walk by the homeless,I acknowledge them at the very least,They are lost souls,In a crazy lost world…I always give to charities,That feed the hungry,Never will I take for granted,The fortunate soul I happen to be.

Michigan 24 Northwestern 22…Wrigley Field, the home of Babe Ruth’s called home run shot,saw Dominic Zvada slam another game winner home for a rival although this was with his foot.The Michigan place kicker booted 31 yard field goal to win for the Wolverines over a staunch Northwestern Wildcats team that fought hard.The Wolverines also got two rushing scores from Jordan Marshall as Michigan scored all from their ground game.Michigan travels to play Maryland this Saturday.

Chicago Blackhawks 3 Toronto Maple Leafs 2…The United Center is rocking this fall, but not just with sold out concerts there are the Blackhawks who are making noise in Chicago.This past Saturday Colton Dach scored the game winner for the Hawks in a 3 to 2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.Spencer Knight made 31 saves for Chicago as they and Connor Bedard are the talk of the town.The Blackhawks host the Seattle Kraken on Thursday at the United Center.

Chicago Bulls 122 Portland Trailblazers 121…The power of imports are well known in America.Take the Chicago Bulls for example with their two superstars Josh Giddey and Nicola Vucevic who are keeping the team afloat this season.On Wednesday Vucevic was the Bulls leading scorer and Josh Giddey led them in assists.It was a nail biter but the Bulls prevailed on the road by one point.

Michigan 85 Wake Forest 84…The rock party went into overtime between Michigan and Wake Forest on Tuesday night with the Wolverines coming out as the victors.Eliott Cadeau shot a clutch free throw with scant seconds remaining.Wake Forest nearly overtook the Wolverines in the waning moments of the game although Michigan’s defense prevailed.
