Then I became a phone solicitor for charity unofficially for my mother’s business. Then officially I did this same job for myself. After college I worked for my mother’s business as a typist. I was a sports card dealer at collectable shows after college also. Currently I sell cards at a comic store. Last year I did jury duty where I earned 35 dollars.I bought a hat. These are most of my employment experiences.

Poem…My Fondest Memories…Of all my fondest memories…Was a day unlike any other…My family was whole…We were enjoying July fourth in the park. …Halycon days of youth…They go by so quickly…It’s a drag getting old…Another time honored phrase. …My dog was still alive…Freckle’s was his name…A wonderful Basset hound…Loyal and steadfast. …We were playing in the park…A boy and his dog…Young and carefree…Our best years were ahead of us. …The local newspapers took a photo of us…The only negative…Is my long hair made them think I was a girl. …The days of my youth are gone…I have many fond memories…With regrets as well…Time gone by in a haze.

Leader or Follower?essay…I rarely take initiative, but when I do I often find interesting results. You can often find out a lot about yourself when you try to lead a group of people. Either large or small groups leadership takes resolve. I have only led small groups in my lifetime. Once I was the captain of a high school volleyball team and we did quite well. When one takes initiative,he or she can discover their true potential and the depth of their ability as well.

What of our Country? A poem…I have never experienced…Our country going through tyranny…Until today…A hallmark of the Trump era…What of our country?…Our principles of democracy…Being bastardized and marginalized…All the values we used to cherish…When a country fears it’s government…You have tyranny…When it fears it’s people…You have liberty…America will not…Bend it’s knee to a bully…We will rise up…Then knock the tyrants back on their heels…No uprising…Or revolution…Was carried out…Without bloodshed…Nor the expulsion of sweat…Or tears flowing down ones face…There has to be sacrifice…To hold onto what we hold so dearly…What of our country?…The die is cast…A gauntlet has been thrown…To keep the home fires burning we must persevere.

The Long Walk Home…poem…Not everyone knows,Of the torment of being bullied,It’s a disease,The victims often suffer in silence. …The long walk home,For many young people,It’s fraught with fear,A unrelenting form of terror. …The young man has committed no crime,Except for just being himself,His adversary feels intent on asserting his dominance,Of his superior brute strength. …They say the only way to stop a bully,Is to startle him or her,Then thrash them,For most victims this is easier said than done. …The young man keeps a close eye on the clock,Knowing 3:30 will be imminent,His mind unravels,Hoping unrealistically for a protector or sudden means of salvation. …The long walk home,Seemingly there’s nothing he can do,For all the victims of bullying,There’s more of us than them.
