On Monday at Kauffman Stadium the Royals found themselves in a pitched battle with the playoff contending White Sox.The White Sox took their measure, but not without a fight.Chase Meidroth hit a two run single and also provided some thunder with a three run homer.Munetaka Murekami also provided some pop with a three run blast of his own.The Royals scored some runs in the late innings but it was too little,too late as the White Sox prevailed 14 to 11.The series continues this Tuesday at Kauffman Stadium.
