Dolphins 24 Bears24…The Chicago Bears found out what the comparison of a tie is, kissing your sister,ugh.The preseason game between Chicago and Miami ended in a 24 to 24 tie.The Bears plodded and under achieved although Case Keenum was impressive throwing for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.Miami scored on two rushing touchdowns,which does not bode well for the Bears who are predicated on run defense.The fact that Caleb Williams did not play means this game proved very little.Just a awkward family get together at Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon.

What kind of store would I want to start? The store I would start would be a collectable store and I would sell comics,sports cards,and action figures.I have many years experience as a show dealer and I figure this would be my niche in business.I would not start a restaurant because it is too difficult.I prefer to stay out of owning a store but if I had to that is the kind I would start.

If I lived in an alternate universe…If I lived in an alternate universe my life would be far different.I would take exquisite care of myself far different from the man in this universe.I would also be orderly,efficient,and organized a far cry from the disheveled gentleman we see on this realm.What planet would we be on? Cubs 5 Orioles 3…Turnabout is fair play as the Cubs turned it around to beat Baltimore 5 to 3 with a game winning homer in the bottom of the ninth at Wrigley field Sunday.With the Orioles tying the game in the top of the frame Justin Turner said “the heck with this” and took care of business.Justin hit a ball into center field and the Wrigley faithful went into a frenzy.”Big Red” as Justin is called because of his crimson locks is also mistook for the Scott’s lawn care spokesman.Justin fed the Cubs a great win as they continue to jockey back and forth with Milwaukee who has a slight lead in the division.The Cubs host the Reds this Monday at Wrigley.

The habit that brings me joy…The one habit that brings me joy is eating.Not always because my doctor says I need to lose weight.Aside from that I enjoy food.Like Curly Howard of the Three Stooge’s once opined “vitamins A,B,C,D,E,F,G I like food.Food was always at the centerpiece for Curly.It is for me as well.I need to eat more efficiently and in a less frivolous manner in order to survive.They say ” eat to live not live to eat” which is a good motto to live by.

Traditions of my parents…I have kept some of my parents traditions alive in my later years.We have the tradition of corned beef and cabbage every St.Patricks day since we are Irish Americans.There is also my fathers tradition of eating Hershey’s big block candy bars during football season which I still indulge in.Also we have a Christmas tree every year in December.These are just a few of the many traditions of our parents that we have kept alive in our family.

White Sox 9 Phillies 3…The road to redemption is chugging along for the White Sox as they beat Philadelphia 9 to 3 on Wednesday in a rain delayed game at Guaranteed Rate Field.Kyle Teel and Colson Montgomery both homered for Chicago, as the Sox are playing great baseball since the all star break. Tyler Alexander pitched well for the Sox as he earned another win. The White Sox open a three game series against the Angels starting the Friday night in Los Angeles.

Cubs 10 Brewers 3…The cheddar curtain was invaded today by sweet home Chicago this Wednesday as the Cubs beat Milwaukee 10 to 3.Michael Busch and Ian Happ both homered for Chicago en route to a laugher to end this series.Shota Imanaga pitched well enough to win as his recovery goes according to plan.The Cubs are one game behind in the standings after today’s win.The Cubs host Baltimore this Friday at Wrigley Field.

Strategies to maintain my health and well being…I take fairly good care of myself if I were ever asked this question by a physician.I do weight bearing exercises daily.I do cardio exercises as well which includes jogging.I eat healthy and try and maintain my weight.I have lost over 80 lbs and I have health issues so I try and watch my caloric intake.It takes a lot of maintenance to stay healthy so I keep vigilant over my well being.

Cubs 4 Red Sox 1…Beantown’s finest were the opposition for the Cubs at Wrigley on Friday as the northsider’s prevailed 4 to 1.Seiya Suzuki a all star game snub hit a 3 run homer in the 1’st inning and that would be enough.Colin Rea pitched quite well continuing his magnificent season for the Cubs.Chicago takes on the Bosox on Saturday night on Fox.
