Minnesota Vikings 16 Green Bay Packers 3…The horns were blowing strong in the U.S.Bank stadium this past Sunday as the Minnesota Vikings closed out the season with a win over their hated rivals the Green Bay Packers.Resting their starters the Packers had little to play for other than pride.CJ Ham ran for a touchdown for the Vikings and Will Reichard kicked three field goals in the win.The Vikings won their last five games to finish third in the NFC north which boasts of all four teams having winning records.

Indiana 38 Alabama 3…The January first bowl games out shine just about any college sports events with the pageantry of parades and the greatness of sports.Indiana showed the nation they are for real as the Hoosiers destroyed Alabama 38 to 3 in a laugher.Fernando Mendoza threw for three touchdowns in a game that was never contested by the Crimson Tide.Indiana moves on to play Big Ten rival Oregon on Friday night in the college football playoffs.

Chicago Blackhawks 3 Las Vegas Golden Knights 2…The Chicago Blackhawks showed a unique form of championship mettle as they bested their conference rivals the Las Vegas Knights 3 to 2 on Sunday night at the United Center.Tyler Bertuzzi scored the game winner in overtime to the delight of the Blackhawks faithful.Avid Soderblom stopped 13 shots on goal to help Chicago to the victory.The Blackhawks next game is Wednesday against the St.Louis Blues at the United Center.
