Chicago Blackhawks 4 New York Islanders 3…Chicago hope continues as the playoff bound Blackhawks keep strutting their skills night after night.Their most recent conquest was a 4 to 3 nail biter over the New York Islanders.Nick Landis excelled for the Hawks with a goal and two assists.Frank Nazar and Tyler Bertuzzi had a goal and one assist each respectively for Chicago.With the playoffs approaching the Blackhawks are hoping for good health and great times.

New York Knicks 121 New Orleans Pelicans 116…The Knicks are showing versatility and composure with each passing week.The playoffs are approaching and New York just won a close one on Tuesday night.Point guard Jalen Brunson led New York in scoring with 32 points.Jalen also led the Knicks with 7 assists.Big Kat aka Karl Anthony Towns led NYC in rebounding with 14 boards,he also put in 21 points as well.Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 22 points in a loss.

Iowa 73 Florida 72…27 years have flown by and finally the Iowa basketball team has made it to a sweet sixteen.Many epic things have gone down since then.I do not want to expound on them but suffice it to say it has been a long time coming for the Hawkeyes.Guard Tavion Banks was one of the big reasons the Hawkeyes triumphed Sunday.Tavion scored 20 points and had 6 rebounds to lead the Hawkeyes.Kael Combs a Iowa guard led the Hawkeyes with 6 assists.Alex Condonn led Florida with 21 points in a losing effort.Iowa plays Nebraska this Friday.

Michigan 95 St.Louis 72…The maize and blue continue their epic season as the 33 and 3 Michigan Wolverines defeated the upstart St.Louis Billikins 95 to 72 this Saturday.Michigan forward Yaxel Lendeborg took care of business as he led the Wolverines in scoring with 25 points.Fellow forward Morez Johnson Jr.led big blue with 8 boards.Elliott Cadeau was the man with the dishes handing out eight assists for the Wolverines.Amari Mcottry a Billiken guard led St.Louis in scoring with 17 points but to no avail.Michigan moves on to the sweet sixteen this Thursday night.

Illinois 76 VCU 55…The legend of the Illini continues on as the 26 and 8 Illinois squad keeps finding their rhythm.Andrej Stoikevic led Illinois in scoring with 21 points.Illinois center Tomislav Ivinisic led the orange and blue with 11 boards.David Mirkovic led the Illini with 4 assists.Terrence Hill jr.led VCU with 17 points in a losing effort for the Rams.Illinois moves on to play Houston in the sweet sixteen on Thursday night.

Iowa 67 Clemson 61…The special needs children that cheer for the Hawkeyes have something to hope for as their heroes triumphed on Friday 67 to 61 over the Clemson Tigers.Bennett Stirtz led Iowa with 16 points and topped the Hawkeyes with 2 assists.Iowa forward Cam Manayuwu led the Hawkeyes with 10 rebounds.Clemson’s RJ Godfrey led the Tigers with 15 pts.Iowa moves on to play Florida this Sunday at 6 p.m. central time.

Michigan 101 Howard 80…At 32 and 3 the Michigan Wolverines have had very few dark clouds this season.The stellar play of forward Morez Johnson jr.has been a huge blessing for big blue.In the east region opener Johnson scored 21 points to lead the Wolverines in a 101 to 80 victory over the Howard Bison on Thursday night.Morez also had 10 boards to lead the maize and blue.Eliot Cadeau had 9 assists continuing the young guards spectacular season.Michigan takes on the St.Louis Billikens this Saturday at 11:10 am in the east region.

Illinois 105 Penn 70…The tournament has started out well for the Illini and their hot shooting offense.Davic Mirkovic scored 29 points for Illinois and added 17 boards to help defeat the Penn Quakers 105 to 70 on Thursday night.Keaton Wagler added 7 assists to help bolster the Illini backcourt.Michael Zanoni had 20 points for the Quakers in a losing effort.Illinois moves on to the final 32 this Saturday in the southern region of the tournament.

TCU 66 Ohio State 64…The throes of March Madness.Ohio State found out that life is not all wine and roses after they found the exit in a 66 to 64 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs this Thursday.The Buckeyes finished 21 and 12 on the season, not too shabby considering their plethora of injuries and the fact that they are relatively young with several freshman starting for them.
