New York Knicks 130 Cleveland Cavaliers 93…The big apple was salivating for a title and now the Knicks have a shot at the whole enchilada.Big Kat,Karl Anthony Towns,led New York with 19 points.Big Kat also hauled down 14 boards to give the strapping young man another notch in his belt.Forward Josh Hart led the Knicks with 6 assists.The Cavaliers Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 31 points.The Knicks await the winner of San Antonio and Oklahoma city next week on Wednesday night in the NBA finals.

New York Knicks 121 Cleveland Cavaliers 108…The big apple has known it’s share of triumph and despair.The Knicks are giving New Yorkers something to really cheer about as they are one win away from the NBA finals.The Knicks have not been in the finals since Bill Clinton was the president.Jalen Brunson has been a huge factor in the teams success.The Knicks point guard poured in 30 points in Saturdays 121 to 108 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.Brunson has been killing it all season for the Knicks.Big Kat contributed 7 assists.Karl is one smooth playmaker.Josh Hart added 9 rebounds for the Knicks,who love his strong defense and boardwork.Evan Mobley had 24 points in a losing effort.Game four is on Memorial day in Cleveland.

Cleveland Cavaliers 125 Detroit Pistons 94…Cleveland rocks and the Cavaliers showed us how much in a 125 to 94 win to close the series 4 to 3.Cleveland shooting guard Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points to lead the Cavaliers.He also added 8 assists.Forward Evan Mobley led Cleveland with 12 boards.Danniss Jenkins led Detroit with 17 points in a losing effort.The Cavaliers move on to the Eastern Conference finals to play the Knicks.

White Sox 9 Cubs 8…The definition of a barn burner is something exciting and off the charts.The Cubs rubber game in the cross town classic could easily be described as a barn burner with both teams nearly scoring in double figures.Michael Conforto of the Cubs hit a three run homer to tie the game a seven in the top of the ninth.Edgar Quero hit a two run blast in the bottom of the tenth to erase a one run deficit and the Sox beat the Cubs 9 to 8 to win round one of the cross town classic.The Cubs host Milwaukee tomorrow night at Wrigley Field.

Oklahoma City 115 Los Angeles Lakers 110 OKC wins series 4-0…If Superman had a favorite sports franchise it would be the Thunder.The fictional Smallville Kansas native is a local,so it would connect that he would be a fan.Aside from the comic books the Thunder are starting to create storm clouds for the rest of the NBA.There is now speculation that after the Lakers demise at the hands of the Thunder,Lebron James may retire.These are still rumours but stay tuned.Shai Gilgeous Alexander scored 35 points for the Thunder and provided 8 assists.Isaiah Hartenstein a center,had 10 rebounds.Lakers shooting guard Austin Reaves had 27 points in a losing effort.The Thunder move on to the conference finals and await the winner of San Antonio and Minnesota.

Chicago White Sox 6 Kansas City Royals 5…The White Sox mixed small ball with a little power to bring home the right recipe for a win.Colson Montgomery scored in a two run 5’th inning.Mongtgomery also hit a solo home run in the seventh that would ultimately prove to be the ga man e winner.Tristan Peters hit a RBI double and later scored in the 2’nd inning.Bobby Witt hit a two run homer in the eighth,though to no avail as the White Sox triumphed.
