Chicago White Sox 8 Minnesota Twins 0…It’s better late than never that is a time honored phrase most of us adhere to.Erick Fedde knows this quite well,as the White Sox hurler got his first win after a 0-5 start with a 5.40 ERA.Andrew Benintendi homered and scored a run to lead the Sox to a 8 to 0 win over the Twins.The Sox play the Atlanta Braves starting on Friday night in the peach city.

Chicago White Sox 2 Detroit Tigers 1…The ebb and flow of time continues to shift.Now it is flowing in the White Sox favor after a 2 to 1 victory over division rival Detroit.After the Tigers got off to a 1 to 0 advantage the Sox took command in the seventh inning.Colton Montgomery started it off with a home run.Then Tristan Peters hit a RBI single to take the lead.Tyler Davis came in to pitch the ninth and shut it down to earn his first career save.The Sox travel to the twin cities to play Minnesota tomorrow night.

Chicago Cubs 6 St. Louis Cardinals 1…A rivalry is built on many things and competition is one of them.The Cubs,Cardinals rivalry has competitive fire with both teams winning against each other at different times.Ben Brown pitched a gem on Saturday for the Cubs.Pete Crow Armstrong hit a homer and provided a RBI for Chicago as well.The Cubs play the rubber game on Sunday night on ESPN in St. Louis.

Chicago Cubs 7 Pittsburgh Pirates 2…The name of the game is baseball and the Cubs provided fast action and gritty play making.They used small ball and Chicago won its second game in a row against division rival Pittsburgh.Colin Rea got the win and Seiya Suzuki provided the lumber.Seyia scored once and added two RBI’s to help the Cubs pick up a much needed win.Tomorrow the Cubs travel to St. louis to play the Cardinals.Shota Imanaga takes the mound for the north siders on Friday night.

Chicago White Sox 15 Minnesota Twins 2…The best defense is a good offense and the White Sox provided plenty of fire power on Wednesday night against the Twins at the rate.Munetaka Murekami had a homer and scored three runs in the south sider’s 15 to 2 romp.The two teams conclude the series on Thursday afternoon at the Rate.

Chicago Cubs 10 Pittsburgh Pirates 4…The Cubs finally got their monkey off their back hallelujah.After a ten game losing streak,we did not know whether or not that the Cubs would ever triumph,but lo and behold they did.Ian Happ was a huge reason for the win with five RBI’s.One was on a single that brought in two runs.Another was a three run homer that was the dagger that broke open a close game.Tomorrow Colin Rea takes on Paul Skenes on Thursday night at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

Oklahoma City Thunder 127 San Antonio Spurs 114…The time is now for OKC and Victor Wembyama looks like he must wait another year.OKC is on the verge of advancing to their second NBA finals in a row.OKC leads 3 to 2 over San Antonio and the winds are blowing the Thunders way in Oklahoma.Shai Gilgeous Alexander led all scorers with 32 points for the Thunder.The skilled point guard also posted 9 assists.Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein hauled down 15 boards.Spurs guard Stephon Castle led San Antonio with 24 points.OKC needs to win on Thursday night in San Antonio to clinch the Western Conference championship.
